Another quick World Solar Challenge update – see also the status report from MostDece. The following local and international teams are now in Australia (click on the social media icons and links to find out what they are up to):

Cruiser class – 4 teams (out of 12)

• 11: Bochum University of Applied Sciences (  Germany, SunRiser) – have driven up to Darwin (see their live map)
• 35: University of Minnesota (  USA, Eos) – in Adelaide, with their car
• 40: Solar Team Eindhoven (  Netherlands, Stella Lux) – in Darwin, see their vlog #3 of the trip up (during which their PR person unfortunately sustained a broken leg)
• 75: University of New South Wales / Sunswift (  Australia, eVe) – local team

Challenger class – 11 teams (out of 30)

• 2: University of Michigan (  USA, Aurum) – in Adelaide, blogging regularly
• 3: Nuon Solar Team (  Netherlands, Nuna8) – in Darwin, enjoying the beautiful Northern Territory and finally reunited with their car
• 8: Punch Powertrain Solar Team (  Belgium, Punch One) – in Darwin, with their car (see photo above), see also their video update (Dutch) and their blog update (English)
• 9: Adelaide University (  Australia, Lumen) – local team, busy testing their car
• 12: Cambridge University (  United Kingdom, Evolution) – in Adelaide
• 13: Western Sydney U Solar Car Project (  Australia, Unlimited) – local team
• 15: Dokuz Eylül University (  Turkey, DesTech Solaris) – in Melbourne, doing some travel planning
• 16: Stanford Solar Car Project (  USA, Arctan) – in Adelaide, with their car
• 21: Solar Team Twente (  Netherlands, Red One) – in Darwin, camped out in the Alawa Scout Hall, part of a substantial Dutch/Belgian contingent
• 30: Clenergy Team Arrow (  Australia, Arrow1) – local team, busy practising emergency drills
• 77: University of Toronto / Blue Sky (  Canada, Horizon) – have arrived (but no news other than that)

Adventure class – 1 team (out of 4)

• 42: TAFE SA (  Australia, Solar Spirit) – local team
