Western Sydney U Solar Car Project (Unlimited)

The team from Western Sydney University (formerly UWS) trailered their vehicle in the 2013 WSC, but travelled the furthest of the trailered teams, therefore coming 11th in the Challenger class. This year, with a new vehicle, they hope to improve on that result. Their web site reports that their new car has these characteristics:
- Weight: 170 kg
- Top speed: 129 km/h
- Electrical: Panasonic lithium ion battery pack and Marand DC motor
- Structure: Carbon fibre and Nomex honey comb composite (even the suspension and steering wheel are made from carbon fibre)
