Bochum University of Applied Sciences (ThyssenKrupp SunRiser)

The German team from Hochschule Bochum (BO) has essentially defined what is now the World Solar Challenge Cruiser class, with their BOcruiser (2008–2010, photo above by PresseBO), SolarWorld GT (2011–2012, photo above by “SolarLabor”), and PowerCore SunCruiser (2013–2014, photo above by PresseBO). The latter came 2nd in the 2013 WSC Cruiser class. This year, the ThyssenKrupp SunRiser (below) joins this proud tradition, and will be competing in the 2015 WSC. Good luck, team 11!
Update: Bochum have put up a live map of their travels towards the starting line.
