I have written elsewhere about why I think board and card games are beneficial, and there is some evidence for their utility in education. Recently I’ve been experimenting with creating educational games (like the geography card game above).
This made me think – what educational games are there in the science field? Three highly rated games on the Board Game Geek website are Compounded, by Darrell Louder (chemistry, photo below) and Fauna & Fauna Junior, by Friedemann Friese (zoology).
Does anyone have any experience with these? Or know of any other good games in the science education space?
